Early in 2000, a small group of believers came together in a gymnasium in Latrobe, PA with a shared vision of a church that would help ordinary people become extraordinary followers of Christ.

They believed this would best be accomplished by: Exalting the Lord, Equipping the Saints and Expanding the Kingdom. In 2002, this group, led by Pastor Keith Tucci, had grown exponentially and was able to purchase the ground that is now the home of Living Hope Church in Whitney, PA.

The church building was completed shortly afterward, and the church body has faithfully continued to worship our Lord Jesus, to make and equip disciples and to support and send workers to the mission fields. In May of 2015, Pastors Doug and Paula Allen took over the reins of LHC.

In addition to their pastoral duties, they breathed new life into the Hope Center in Latrobe, which now has numerous community programs available including Celebrate Recovery, Embrace Grace and Grief Share.

Living Hope Church continues to be a launching pad for those looking for opportunities to serve in our local communities through practical demonstrations of the love of Christ.
